Rainbow Junction, Ltd. Child Care Center has been in existence since 1971 caring for area children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade or 12 years of age. The Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors.
At Rainbow Junction, Ltd we are proud of our staff. The Director will help you enroll your child, make sure your child's records are current and through staff development and following regulations, ensure your child is receiving the best care the Center is able to offer. S/he is available should you have any questions or suggestions regarding the Center and its activities. We will help with your questions on financial issues such as child care fees and changes in your income which may affect your fees. The Coordinator will act on behalf of the Program Director when s/he is not available. The Program Staff is made up of Teachers and Assistants; it is their job to provide each child with a nurturing, creative and safe environment through their daily care giving duties including a variety of routine and stimulating activities geared to the appropriate age group. The Cook provides everyone with nutritious and delicious meals and snacks. The Housekeeper helps us keep our Center clean. All staff participate in staff development activities and staff meetings to keep informed of Center policies and child development/care giving information. We also participate in local training programs through Child and Family Resources, Keuka College, FLCC, BOCES, Penn Yan Schools and On-the -Job training programs with youth and adults entering or interested in the child development field. The state regulations are located by the front entrance for parents to refer to anytime. Please make sure the Director shows you where it is.
It is the mission of the Center to offer a variety of creative, learning, developmental, physical and social opportunities to the children in our care so that parents may work or go to school with the knowledge that their children are in a stimulating, safe and caring environment.
